Parlux hair dryers are expensive and they are worth the price.They are the most quiet dryers. They are know to be the fastest drying blow dryers around. The Parlux 3800 is sheer luxury.
You’ve probably read my write up about the best hairdryer for a great blowdry when it comes to blowdrying your hair at home.Yes I’ll say it again…I still believe the Hi Lift hairdryer ( which is a replica of the original Italian Turbo Dryer) is the most comfortable dryer of all.However my sister who is also a qualified hairdresser for 20 years and VERY busy with her long standing clientele,will argue that since she changed from the Italian Turbo to the Parlux hairdryer…NOTHING beats the Parlux.Yes I agree they are designed in different sizes..some with a short front length and smooth handle.And I have to agree that the combination of how strong the air blows from the dryer and the heat of the hairdryer is perfectly balanced.Please note : one of the most important things about a good hairdryer for blowdrying your hair is that the hairdryer delivers a good strong blow of air and balanced with that, the right amount of heat.You will not succeed if the hairdryer blows wildly,too strongly and undirected with the heat output to low.You’ll just get your hair blowing all over the place and no styling control.
On the other hand if the air blows too weak or too softly,but the heat is too hot,this is when one tends to overheat and burn your hair eventually resulting in dry hard hair and frizzy ends.
It is also quiet without the ‘vacuum cleaner’ type of loud screaming sound that some of the hairdryers have out there.The Parlux dryers have a very quiet low hum…a gentle blowing sound, as they have been fitted with a patented silencer.The Parlux 3800 is being claimed as thee Eco friendly dryer of all time.Parlux has won best hairdryer of the year .It is ceramic and ionic,has a lighter but considerably stronger motor that goes beyond 2000 hours,and produces substantially stronger air flow. The parlux design follows on from the Italian Turbo dryer,to my way of thinking,but through improved design they’ve come up with something as good as ,if not ,more superior than the Italian Turbo.Of course you will be paying a little more for the parlux than you would be for the Hi Lift dryer.
So,to sumarize,the Parlux 3200 is the one my sister uses and swears on her hairdressing tendrils that thats tops.Although claimed to be the hairdryer for proffessionals,this is a very good buy for home use.
Now the Parlux 3500 is the baby.Short front nozzle.Compact in a 17cm length,excellent for travel too. And now the new eco friendly Parlux 3800 is out there.I know for sure though that the Parlux 3200 is the way to go.
